Bricks Day 7

More of the commons were laid today plus the scaffolding was erected for laying bricks on the 3rd garage. The bricklayers should be done by Wednesday hopefully.

Bricks Day 6

I received a call from our SS today telling me that our facia and guttering were to be installed late next week. But due to the brickies taking longer than anticipated, it will now be pushed back to the week after. Anyway I went up to check things out and shout them a 'drink' but they were gone. Here's what got completed today.

The brickies are making their way around the house now, finishing to the roof as they go. The western side is close to being completed and should all be done by mid next week.

Bricks Day 4

We had action on the front of our home today with the common bricks being laid. They don't look the best but they will be bagged and painted in the colour Twiggy to complement the Latte bricks for the rest of the house.



Bricks Day 3

My boys and I walked up to the house today as I still haven't got my car back after the accident last week. More bricks have been laid but doesn't seem as productive as yesterday. Still we had the commons started. I just had a look at the weather forecast and it has changed again and it should be fine for the rest of the week. Fingers crossed.





Bricks Day 2

More brick movement today with work around the alfresco, home theatre, bedroom 4 and the living room. Hopefully they will start on the front of the house tomorrow and the triple garage. The commons will look out of place until they are bagged.

We have Bricks laid! Day 1

Our brickies arrived on-site today and got a far bit done on day 1. With favourable weather over the next week, we may see it completed by next Friday or go very close. We received our first home warming present this week from my parents. A 3kw Solar system with 12 panels. This will take the edge off the power bill when using the ducted A/C. We can now use that money to go towards the Plantation Shutters
